Garage door SPRINGS
Sometimes they are visible, sometimes not—but they are always essential for proper operation. For instance, torsion springs are typically mounted above the garage door opening; as the door closes, the shaft rotates and the springs wind around their own axis, storing energy. Upon opening, they unwind, pulling the steel cables that lift the door panels. Another example—involving a different technology—is tension springs, which are usually mounted vertically along the side tracks. We offer these and many other types of springs.
